Chasing stripes

Some many people think that being a style blogger means that I’m always shopping in any direction the wind blows, this assumption is totally wrong and untrue. If only my surname sounds like Roman Abramovich or Bill Gates, shopping none stop would be my only job.

As much as I would have love to shop on a speed of 200 mph 24/7, unfortunately, life is not like that. 

I am more of a realistic shopper and smart about what I buy, I just don't see the need to wear a designer dress that cost 5k when I can use that money to purchase so many items from various brands and high street stores. Imagine wearing 5k dress 3 to 4 times to every occasion, what else after that. (variety is the spice of life) 

I am more than happy to invest in bags and shoes that I can resell and get something reasonable back. I can't remember the last time I bought pre-owned clothes, but I have bought pre-owned bags in great condition and can still sell them for a good price.

My journey as a style blogger is to be able to dress realistically in affordable clothes and still looks a million dollar chic. I don't see anything wrong in wearing high street brands. 

Let me be straightforward on this matter, not all style bloggers you see on Instagram own every designer brand they wear. Some bloggers wear an outfit from a designer showroom and returned them back after a photo shoot or for promotion purpose. 

Don't be fool into thinking fashion bloggers make millions every year afford all that amounts of expensive clothes or shop 24/7.

I have tried so hard to crop people out of these photos. This is how far I got. Palais royal if always full of tourist, except if you are on the desperate side, go there around 7 to 8 am when nobody is around.
